HANGKERING for some Japanese sushi – with shrimp and fatty tuna freshly-plucked from the sea –, or a few servings of Korean Bulgogi – tender barbeque beef tucked between crisp lettuce leaves –, maybe Chinese dimsum is more to your liking?
Whatever you’re craving, Yakimix’s eclectic spread of cuisine from all over Asia – even from all over the world – will leave you satisfied, maybe even wanting for more.
Yakimix opened its newest branch to much fanfare on Nov. 11 at Iloilo’s newest leisure and dining spot City Time Square, inside the Gaisano Iloilo City Center complex, along Benigno Aquino Ave. in Mandurriao.
Coined from the Japanese word “yaki” meaning grilled, broiled or pan-friend and “mix,” or to put together, Yakimix Restaurant boasts a built-in smokeless grill at every table, enabling customers to relish a Korean-barbeque-reminiscent experience while also partaking of other international dishes such as tempura, a mouth-watering assortment of fresh sushi, even some hearty pizza, pasta, and sausage slices.
“We serve around 50 diverse dishes,” explains Sweden Wu, spokesperson of Yakimix Iloilo. “We have a number of dishes that are ready to be eaten, we also have selection of fresh ingredients and meat slices our customers can choose to grill as they please.”
What seals the deal for Yakimix’s affordable buffet are the unlimited drinks and the eat-all-you-can dessert menu that comes included with the lunch and dinner prices – even boasting a live crepe station, where diners can order and watch as their choice variant of the pastry dessert is made right in front of them.
Visit the newest buffet in town and satisfy your hunger for some international Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine! For reservations and inquiries, you may contact 0927-826-7610./PN
