ILOILO City – An employee at Megaworld Tower 1 in Barangay Taft North, Mandurriao district accused a security guard of hitting him.

Painting supervisor Franklin Jayme, 33, told the police a certain “Alabadri” punched him and struck his head with a pipe. His motorcycle helmet was damaged as a result, he said.

This happened while Jayme was having an argument with two other security guards of Madison Place – Jequer Talabor and Arian Delozar – at around 11:58 a.m. on Nov. 22, a police report showed.

According to Talabor and Delozar, they reprimanded Jayme, who owned a motorcycle, for disobeying a parking memo.

Jayme got irked. He grabbed a pipe and tried to strike Talabor but Delozar was able to seize the weapon, the guards told the police.

The security guard identified only as Alabadri cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.

The incident was referred to the police’s Security Agencies and Guards Unit./PN
