ILOILO City – Why would his drinking buddy hurt him?
Jeffrey Mamon was shocked when Mario Guion struck him with a bottle of Red Horse beer on the head, the 41-year-old native of Barangay Panura, Janiuay, Iloilo told the police.
The incident happened in Barangay Balantang, Jaro district at around 10 p.m. on Nov. 22, a police report showed. Guion lived in the village.
Mamon was hit on the left eye. He was referred to the West Visayas State University Medical Center for treatment.
The dispute was referred to the barangay lupon./PN
