BACOLOD City – Two unidentified suspects stabbed a man in Barangay Felisa, a police report showed.
Police identified the man as the 32-year-old resident Jhony Mapiskay.
The investigation that officers from Police Station 10 conducted revealed that Mapiskay was walking in the village when the suspects suddenly attacked him.
Mapiskay sustained stab wounds on the lower back and the right hand, police said.
The suspects fled the crime scene on board a tricycle.
Police added that the suspects, while on board the vehicle, tried to shoot Mapiskay but missed.
The incident happened on Nov. 25.
Police were still identifying the suspects and the motive in the attack./PN
