BACOLOD City – An unidentified man robbed her yesterday, a woman told officers in Police Station 1.

The 40-year-old Mitzie Pille, an employee of the municipal hall in La Castellana, Negros Occidental, said the suspect carted away her bag containing P200,000 cash, a camera worth P20,000, a cellular phone worth P5,000, and other important documents.

Pille was on board a public utility jeepney plying the Bata-Libertad route with the suspect sitting beside her, a police report showed.

When the jeepney took a stop in front of the former National Statistics Office in Barangay 11, the suspect snatched from Pille her bag and fled.

Police Station 1 has yet to identify or locate the suspect./PN
