BACOLOD City – The Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and the Bacong police station recovered guns and ammunition from a house in Barangay Combado, Bacong, Negros Oriental.
The team led by Chief Inspector Julius Garcia of the CIDG, however, failed to arrest their target, resident Robert Alabastro, a police report showed.
Seized from Alabastro’s house were a black .357-caliber revolver with serial number W000529, a homemade shotgun, a .45-caliber pistol with serial number 597528, four bullets of a .38-caliber gun, a magazine and three bullets of a shotgun, and a magazine and seven bullets of a .45-caliber firearm, police said.
