ILOILO City – Three men ganged up on an 18-year-old customer of Angel’s Burger on Huervana Street, La Paz district yesterday.
Gerold Ventura of Barangay Aldeguer, Sara, Iloilo sustained a swollen face and a lacerated right knee, police said.
Ventura, who was temporarily residing in Barangay Sinikway, Lapuz, told the police he did not know the men who attacked him at around 3 a.m.
The three men were customers of the burger joint, too. They and Ventura had an altercation before the attack, police investigation showed. It was not immediately clear what the argument was about.
Ventura was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center in Jaro.
