ILOILO City – Three men beat him up, a resident of Zone 4, Barangay Boulevard, Molo district told the police.
James Klein Gonzaga, 23, said he was walking at around 7 a.m. on Friday in Barangay North Baluarte, Molo near the entrance to the Iloilo Fish Port Complex when attacked.
Gonzaga identified one of his attackers as Valentin Aliman, also of Barangay Boulevard. He claimed his other attackers were Aliman’s brothers but failed to identify them.
Gonzaga told the police the three punched and kicked him, and then ran away.
On Thursday evening, Gonzaga had an argument with Aliman at the Iloilo Fish Port Complex but the former said they settled it.
Aliman cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
Police were leaving the dispute to the barangay lupon./PN
