BACOLOD City – Police have yet to identify the suspect and the motive in shooting a village chief in Barangay Poblacion, Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental.
Leonardo Margasenio, village chief of Barangay Nagbinlod, Santa Calalina, was attending a program at Rizal Park in Barangay Poblacion around 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday when the gunman shot him on the chest.
Margasenio was rushed to the Bayawan City District Hospital where he was pronounced “dead on arrival.”/PN
