BACOLOD City – In Tanjay City, Negros Oriental, a man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation, a police report showed.
He was the 18-year-old Jumarie Ramirez of Barangay San Jose, Tanjay City.
Ramirez was caught after he sold shabu to a poseur-buyer for P500 around 4:10 p.m. on Jan. 17 in Barangay Tugas, Tanjay City, the report further stated.
A team led by Police Officer 1 Dickmar Gornez in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency staged the arrest.
When frisked, Ramirez yielded another sachet of shabu.
Police also confiscated Ramirez’s black Honda XRM 125 motorcycle.
Ramirez was detained at the Tanjay City police station lockup facility and facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
