ILOILO City – Two men were injured during a commotion on Villareal Highway at the poblacion in Mambusao, Capiz, a police report showed.
Delivery boy Steve Candido Zaradulla, 30, of Barangay Caidquid, Mambusao sustained a stab wound on the stomach. He was taken to the Capiz Emmanuel Hospital in Roxas City.
On the other hand, the 19-year-old student Jemark Salvador Valerio of Barangay Bula, Mambusao, Capiz was wounded on the face.
From what the police have so far gathered, those involved in the commotion at around 4:40 p.m. on Wednesday were drunk.
Officers also launched a hot pursuit against the one who may have inflicted the injuries on Zaradulla and Valerio./PN
