ILOILO City – A resident of Zone 1, Barangay Boulevard, Molo district allegedly slapped his mother.
His family was clueless why Gary Sotito would strike his 84-year-old mother Lily, a police report showed.
His elder brother Romeo, 58, told the police he was about to sleep at around 9:45 p.m. on Feb. 20 when Gary came home drunk.
Suddenly, without any reason, Gary struck Lily on the face and fled, Romeo said.
Lily Sotito sustained a painful face, police said.
Gary cannot be reached for comment as of this writing.
