BACOLOD City – Shabu estimated to be worth P225,000 was confiscated from a drug suspect in Barangay Vista Alegre, a police report showed.
Barangay 30 resident George Michael Adeva was caught after he sold shabu to an undercover officer for P1,000 on Monday, the report further showed.
Recovered from Adeva’s possession were four sachets of shabu including the buy-bust item, police said.
Adeva was detained at the Police Station 7 lockup facility. He will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, added the police.
Joint elements from the City Intelligence Unit and the City Drug Enforcement Unit of the Bacolod City Police Office staged the drug buy-bust operation./PN
