ILOILO City – Two suspected drug personalities were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ravina Sur, Sibunag, Guimaras.
They were Garyniel Benedicto and Gene Gabasa, police said.
Benedicto and Gabasa – residents of the village – were caught after they sold illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P300 around 5:20 p.m. on Friday.
Recovered form their possession were two sachets of suspected marijuana.
The suspects were detained in the municipal police station’s custodial facility, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (With a report from PDEA Region 6/PN)
