ILOILO City – Two persons were wounded in a commotion in Barangay Santo Niño Sur, Arevalo district.
The 30-year-old resident Marck John Roma and 22-year-old Lester Espiritu sustained stab wounds on their body, a police report showed.
The suspect was 22-year-old Radnel Indencio, the report added.
Police investigators said Roma, Espiritu and Indencio were having a drinking session when an altercation ensued between them around 3 a.m. on Sep. 1.
This prompted Indencio to stab Roma and Espiritu, the investigators added.
Roma and Espiritu were brought to the Iloilo Doctor’s Hospital in Molo district for treatment.
Officers of the Arevalo police station conducted a manhunt operation against Indencio, who fled after the incident./PN
