ILOILO City – Accused of domestic violence, a 37-year-old man was arrested in Barangay Poblacion, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.
Raymond Bajada of Barangay Bulaqena, Estancia, Iloilo was caught in his residence around 12:10 p.m. yesterday.
Bajada’s apprehension was staged on the strength of an arrest warrant the court issued in relation to the charge for violation of Republic Act 9262 (Anti-Violence against Women and their Children Act of 2004) he faces.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Barotac Viejo police station.
The court recommended a P72,000 bail for Bajada’s temporary liberty./PN
