Bacolod City – A man was stabbed in Barangay 3-Poblacion, E.B. Magalona, Negros Occidental.
The 31-year-old Jonel Devinagracia of Manapla, Negros Occidental was recuperating at the Teresita Jalandoni District Hospital in Silay City, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
The 44-year-old Edmundo Pedregosa of Barangay Tabigue, E.B. Magalona was tagged suspect, the report added.
According to police investigators, Devinagracia allegedly taunted Pedregosa while they were having a drinking session on Dec. 21.
This prompted Pedregosa to stab Devinagracia using a broken beer bottle, police said.
Pedregosa was detained in the E.B. Magalona municipal police station’s lockup facility, facing charges./PN
