ILOILO City – Three persons were injured in a road accident in Barangay Madarag, San Enrique, Iloilo.
Sunday’s crash landed Elberto Jamiñas, 41, his relatives Elmer Jamiñas, 42; and Dennis Jamiñas, 27, at the Passi City District Hospital. They all sustained injuries on the body, police said.
According to police investigation, the incident happened around 12:30 p.m.
The tricycle was driven by Elberto with Elmer and Dennis as passengers. They were navigating the road when their vehicle was hit by a truck. It was however not immediately established what circumstance led to the collision.
The truck driver Sonny Faceronda, 53, of Barangay Dolores, Dumalag, Capiz was arrested.
He was brought to the San Enrique police station where he was detained./PN
