ILOILO City – She sold suspected shabu, police said.
The 24-year-old Catherine Villaruz was nabbed in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Burgos-Mabini, La Paz district.
Villaruz – resident of the village – was caught after she sold a sachet of illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P2,100 around 1:30 p.m. on Aug. 16, police said.
When frisked, she yielded five more sachets of suspected shabu.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the La Paz police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against her./PN
