BACOLOD City – A motorcycle collided with a passenger tricycle on the national highway in Barangay Ma-ao, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
The motorcycle driver, Myrone Eslais, and his back rider Debbie Joy Leganada, 28, died.
The live-in partners were residents of Barangay Cubay, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
They sustained fatal injuries on the head and body, a police report showed.
The tricycle, on the other hand, was driven by John Algara, 25. His parents Roberto, 51 and Josephine, 54, were onboard the vehicle. They all sustained injuries and were brought to the Bago City Hospital for medical treatment.
According to police investigators, the incident happened around 8:25 p.m. on Nov. 18.
The motorcycle was negotiating the national road when the tricycle crashed against it, the investigators added.
The Algaras were all residents of Barangay Cubay in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental./PN
