BACOLOD City – A man charged with three counts of rape was arrested yesterday in Purok Kaburihan, Barangay Estefania.
Elements of the Bacolod City Police Station 4 nabbed alias “Toto” on the strength of an arrest warrant that Judge Edwin Gomez of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 43 issued.
The rape for which the suspect was charged allegedly happened in March 2019 at a birthday party of a common friend.
During the party the attendees had a drinking binge.
The complainant told the police she became too inebriated to resist when the suspect raped her.
At the time of the alleged rape, both the victim and suspects were minors.
The suspect was taken to Police Station Four yesterday.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
