BACOLOD City – A carpenter was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 18-A, Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
Danilo Villarmente, 56, was a resident of the village and tagged a “street-level” personality.
He sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover cop for P400, a police report showed.
Nine more sachets with a combined value of P13,500 were recovered from his possession around 5 p.m. on May 1.
The suspect was detained at the Victorias City police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against him./PN
