BACOLOD City – The No. 2 most wanted person in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental was arrested in Barangay Minapasuk, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.
Rogelio Dayanan, 53, was charged with violation of Republic Act 8353 (The Anti-Rape Law of 1997), a police report showed.
The suspect – resident of Barangay 2, Hinoba-an – was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 9:30 p.m. on May 2.
Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental ordered Dayanan’s arrest.
The suspect was detained in the lockup cell of the Hinoba-an municipal police station.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
