BACOLOD City – Two persons were apprehended while another managed to escape in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay 2.
Elements of Police Station 2 nabbed Emily Lorpido, 36, of Silay City, Negros Occidental and Eric Abeloria, 46, a resident here, around 9:25 p.m. on May 8.
Police said Danilo Carpentero – also a resident here – is still at large.
Recovered during the operation were six sachets of suspected shabu worth P40,800 and P500 marked money.
Lorpido and Abeloria were detained in the police station.
They face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
