BACOLOD City – A 70-year-old woman was arrested in Barangay 1, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
Susan Belasa of the city’s Barangay Rizal was charged with “other acts of abuse (violation of Section 10 (a) of Republic Act 7610, or the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation and Discrimination Act)”, a police report showed.
Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 40 issued the arrest warrant.
The suspect was taken to the Silay City police station around 9 a.m. on June 15.
An P80,000 bail bond was recommended for her temporary liberty./PN
