BACOLOD City – Five persons were apprehended for illegal gambling in Barangay Bagumbayan, Valladolid, Negros Occidental.
The suspects were Noel Bautista, 41; Wilmar Villanueva, 29; Discoro Alegado, 32; Jubert Abada, 54; and Arlon Arevalo, 45; all residents of the barangay.
Police caught them in a game of pusoy on Wednesday around 4:20 p.m.
The men were detained at the municipal police station./PN
