BACOLOD City – A 31-year-old woman was arrested after she allegedly struck an elderly in Barangay Gil Montilla, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental.
Police identified the suspect as Lucy Tionggo, a resident of the village.
The victim, 72-year-old Teresita Landero, accused Tionggo of hitting her with a plastic chair, police said.
The incident happened around 8 a.m. on June 28.
The suspect was brought to the Sipalay City police station, facing charges./PN
