ILOILO City – A resident was arrested in Barangay Purok 4, Pavia, Iloilo yesterday morning.
Forty-one-year-old Nhero Gumban was charged with violation of Republic Act 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children Act of 2004, a police report showed.
Caught by virtue of an arrest warrant, the suspect was taken to the Pavia police station.
Judge Elijo Sharon Ronzales Herrera-Bellones of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 27 here approved a P24,000 bail bond for Gumban’s temporary liberty./PN
