ILOILO City – A 20-year-old drug suspect was caught in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Santo Niño Norte, Arevalo district.
Four sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from Jellie Ann Palomita on June 28, police said.
The suspect – resident of Barangay San Pedro, Jaro district – was taken to the Arevalo police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against her./PN
