BACOLOD City – For alleged illegal gambling, six residents were arrested in Barangay Tinampaan, Cadiz City, Negros Occidental.
They were Kenneth Magno, Romela Desales, Reynel Rosas, Carla Corsame, Juvy Vergara, and Anselma Ofqueria, a police report showed.
Police chanced upon them playing bingo around 5:30 p.m. on July 11.
Recovered from them were bingo cards, chips and P140 bet money.
The suspects were taken to the police station, facing charges for violation of Presidential Decree 1602 that outlaws illegal gambling./PN
