Jasmine Curtis-Smith grateful for Best Actress nomination at 44th Gawad Urian

JASMINE Curtis-Smith might soon win her first Best Actress award from the Gawad Urian, as she is one of the nominees in the said prestigious category.

The The World Between Us star announced the good news in an Instagram post accompanied by photos from her films Alter Me and Midnight in a Perfect World.

She captioned it with this: “Utterly grateful to be among the nominees as Best Actress for the 44th Gawad Urian. Maraming salamat Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino.”

“Taking this time and space to honor all those I got to work with and are nominated for their work, too in #AlterMe & @midnightinaperfectworldfilm,” she continued.

Jasmine has previously won Best Supporting Actress at the 2017 Metro Manila Film Festival and the 36th FAP Luna Awards for her stellar portrayal in Siargao film.

She was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 41st Gawad Urian for her Siargao performance.

In 2016, Jasmine bagged her first Best Actress award at the Cinema One Originals Film Festival for her acting in the movie Baka Bukas.(GMA News)
