ILOILO City – A tricycle driver died in a vehicular accident in Barangay Quintin Salas, Jaro district.
Police identified him as 49-year-old Noel Linazar of Barangay Habog-Habog, Molo district.
According to the police, the victim’s tricycle crashed against a car driven by Silvestre Canto Jr., 74, of Lawaan Village, Jaro around 7:45 p.m. on Oct. 2.
Canto was detained at the Jaro police station, facing charges for reckless imprudence resulting in homicide.
