BACOLOD City – A woman was found dead in a sugarcane plantation in Sitio Dautan, Barangay Mambugsay, Cauayan, Negros Occidental on Thursday.
Police identified her as Agnes Ban, 35, of the town’s Barangay Guihulngan.
Residents discovered the victim around 11 a.m. and noticed a slash wound on her neck.
