BACOLOD City – A resident of Barangay Mansalanao, La Castellana, Negros Occidental with a pending arrest warrant was nabbed in Ilog town.
Jun Castañeda, 45, was charged with rape and had been hiding for 19 years, a police report showed.
He was caught around 7:45 a.m. on Saturday.
Judge Reynaldo Alon of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 63 (La Carlota City, Negros Occidental) denied bail for Castañeda’s temporary liberty.
