BACOLOD City – Police arrested a man for possessing suspected shabu, firearm and bladed weapons in Barangay Poblacion, San Enrique, Negros Occidental on Saturday, April 1.
The 43-year-old Dennis Ermeo was nabbed after the San Enrique police raided his house through the strength of an arrest warrant for violation of Republic Act (RA) 10591 (Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act) issued by Judge Mary Jennifer Protacio-Arches of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 62 dated March 24, 2023.
Police seized five plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a .45 pistol with ammunition, seven knives, and illegal drug paraphernalia.
The suspect was taken into custody by the San Enrique police station. He is facing charges for violation of RA 10591 and RA 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)./PN
