ILOILO – A 19-year-old lad drowned in Barangay Sagcup, Lambunao town around 12:42 p.m. on Good Friday, April 7.
John Kenneth Segura, a resident of the town’s Barangay Maite Grande, was brought by the Municipal Emergency Response Team to the Dr. Ricardo Y. Ladrido Memorial Hospital but was declared “dead on arrival”.
According to the Lambunao police station, the victim went to Tago Falls with his family.
The victim, while swimming, reached a deep portion of the waterfalls where he accidentally drowned, police said./PN
