ILOILO – The barangay captain of Tamocol in Badiangan, Iloilo, lost his life after being stabbed twice in the chest by two suspects on Dec. 16.
According to Police Senior Master Sergeant Cris Vincent Conserva of Badiangan, Barangay Captain Bernard Adorador was in a drinking session with the suspects when an altercation ensued.
Suspects were identified as alias “Nonoy,” 26, of Barangay Talaba, and alias “Toto,” 32, of Barangay Poblacion, both in the town. The suspects are now detained at the Badiangan Municipal Police Station.
The victim was initially brought to Janiuay District Hospital before being transferred to Western Visayas Medical Center, where he eventually passed away.
