ANTIQUE – The 72-year-old Martin Corcino was hit by a motorcycle while crossing the road in Sitio Kawayanan, Barangay Cubay-Napultan, Sibalom, Antique around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 25.
He was declared dead upon arrival at Ramon Maza Sr. Memorial District Hospital for sustaining a head injury.
The motorcycle driver was identified as Isidro Mandeoya, 43.
Both were residents of the said barangay.
According to the Sibalom Municipal Police Station, Mandeoya was from Barangay Cubay-Napultan and was headed to Poblacion, Sibalom. He also received treatment at the hospital for his injuries.
As of writing, the motorcycle driver is under hospital arrest while the vehicle is impounded./PN
