ANTIQUE – A 44-year-old man was found floating at sea in Barangay Maybato North, San Jose de Buenavista town in this province.
The body of Eduard Labiao, a resident of the town’s Barangay Cansadan, was already in an advance state of decomposition when found around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16.
According to Lieutenant Marvin Sandig, deputy chief of the San Jose Municipal Police Station, they responded to an alleged dead person alarm in the barangay.
“So, base sa investigation, ang napatay under sa state of decomposition. Bale nagasuksok sang black shorts and may pilas sa left arm and may deformation sa baba. May tattoo kag didto na-identify nga ang tawo amo si Labiao,” Sandig said.
He added: “May theory basi naka-inom tana kag nalumos tana didto. Ang amon investigation naga-rely kami sa autopsy result nga i-undergo dapat sang napatay para maman-an ang cause of death. Garing ang asawa daw indi interesado magpa-autopsy.”/PN
