DEREK Ramsay is enjoying his time “away from the noise” as he currently participates in a wellness retreat in Bali, Indonesia, amid rumors that he and his wife, Ellen Adarna, have separated.
Despite previously shrugging off false claims that he and Adarna have broken up, the couple was still at the center of recent breakup speculation, especially now that the actor is in a wellness program for Kami No Ken in Bali, presumably without his wife by his side.
Ramsay gave a glimpse of his wellness training through a video on his Instagram page on Sunday, August 24. The reel featured the actor doing workout routines and yoga.
“Stripping away the noise, reconnecting with myself. This experience is a reset for the soul, body, and mind. I was tested beyond comfort and pushed past my limits. At Kaminoken Bali, the body endures, the mind sharpens, and the spirit hardens,” the actor captioned his post.
Based on his Instagram posts, Ramsay appeared to be away from home for almost a week now. On Monday, the actor posted a screenshot of his video call with daughter Liana, with the caption, “Papa will be home soon.”
Veteran entertainment broadcaster Cristy Fermin asserted that Ramsay and Adarna are still together as she commended them both for knowing how to handle a relationship.
“Mema lang ‘yan. Alam n’yo po, napakaganda mag-handle ng relasyon ni Derek Ramsay. At si Ellen Adarna, kitang-kita naman natin na talagang sumusunod siya. Wala pong katotohanan ito. Hindi po totoo ‘tong mga kuwentong lumalaganap na ito. Maayos sila,” said Cristy in a recent episode of her radio show.
In February, Ramsay shared a screenshot of a social media page claiming that Adarna had supposedly signed their annulment papers as he added a series of laughing emojis in the caption. At the time, the couple had just had their daughter baptized.
