LOVI Poe celebrated the upcoming arrival of her first child with film producer husband Monty Blencowe in an intimate baby shower attended by their family and friends.
The actress gave a glimpse of the celebration that was held in what appears to be a house, through a reshared photo on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
In the photo, Lovi and Blencowe stand beside two companions who are pointing at the actress’ baby bump and are holding a poster that reads, “Welcome to Lovi and Monty’s baby shower.”
Lovi’s sister, former Senator Grace Poe, was also present to celebrate with the couple and shared moments from the gathering via her Instagram page.
“Congratulations Lovi and Monty! Can’t wait to welcome your little one,” Grace captioned her post.
On Sept. 1, the actress made the joyful announcement through a campaign with a local clothing brand dubbed “Love Your Body,” where she proudly revealed her pregnancy.
Friends and fans online were quick to congratulate Lovi on this new chapter of her life.
“I’m so happy for you!! Congratulations. Becoming a mom is such a beautiful, life-changing journey, and I know you’re going to be an amazing one!!” Kris Bernal commented.
“Healthy pregnancy journey,” one fan commented.
The happy news comes shortly after Lovi celebrated her second wedding anniversary with husband Monty Blencowe in August.
To mark the occasion last month, the actress shared on Instagram snapshots from their intimate civil wedding in Copenhagen.
“2 years of joy, playful banter, and heartfelt truths. Happy anniversary, my love. You’re my favorite person to do nothing—and everything—with,” Lovi posted.
