ILOILO City – A 52-year-old man and his nephew were found lifeless in Barangay Tagbac Sur, Oton, Iloilo after they were reportedly electrocuted.
Police said the victims, both farmers, were identified as Joaquin Pamalo-an Servano Sr. and Philip Servano, both residents of the same place.
According to the Oton Municipal Police Station, the victims’ lifeless bodies were found by barangay watchmen at around 8:50 a.m. on November 28 near their house.
Prior to the incident, police said that at around 9:30 p.m. on November 27, the two checked the electric line that had been cut off, but they failed to return home.
Police believed the victims were electrocuted because live cut wirings were found beside their bodies.
