ILOILO City – The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) has arrested 323 wanted persons during its intensified operations across the province over a three-month period.
Data from the IPPO showed that from April 1 to June 30, all municipal police stations conducted massive operations against fugitives, resulting in the apprehension of 323 individuals with pending warrants.
Of the total arrests, 93 were classified as most wanted persons facing heinous crimes while 230 were wanted for lesser offenses.
Among the 93 most wanted, 14 were listed at the regional level, 27 at the provincial level, and 52 at the municipal level.
The Concepcion Municipal Police Station (MPS) recorded the highest number of arrests with 20, followed by Passi City Police Station with 19, and Pavia Municipal Police Station with 18.
IPPO director Colonel Bayani Razalan said the second-quarter accomplishments were the result of their relentless operations against lawbreakers.
“These accomplishments reflect our commitment to public safety. We will sustain our campaign against wanted persons to ensure that justice is served and our communities remain safe,” Razalan said./PN
