ILOILO City — A weeklong anti-fugitive campaign across Western Visayas resulted in the arrest of 110 wanted individuals, the Police Regional Office 6 (PRO-6) reported.
From July 20 to July 26, various police units executed law enforcement operations that netted 19 most wanted individuals accused of heinous crimes and 91 others wanted for lesser offenses.
The Iloilo Police Provincial Office (IPPO) recorded the highest number of arrests with 41, followed by the Iloilo City Police Office with 22, and the Antique Police Provincial Office with 15.
PRO-6 director Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño attributed the successful operations to strong community involvement, the active deployment of the barangay intelligence network, and close coordination with other government agencies.
