ILOILO City – Police officers manning a checkpoint in La Paz district confiscated 10 drivers’ licenses for various violations of their owners such as driving motorcycles without wearing helmets or disregarding the checkpoint.

At the checkpoint on Burgos Street, La Paz from 9 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. on Sept. 21, motorcycle-driving Francis Cadangin and George Bautista were caught without wearing helmets.

On the other hand, Joseph Cornel, Michael Celiz, Mark Anthony Besol, Jesar Lolo, Willaim Detablan, and Kaye Degayo were caught for trying to disregard the checkpoint.

Robert Pasa was apprehended for having excess passengers in his motorcycle.

Jovel Jalandoni, meanwhile, violated his student permit – he was driving without being accompanied by a duly licensed driver./PN
