ILOILO City – Two cousins were arrested in Barangay San Antonio Ajuy, Iloilo for illegal guns.

Rey Pajardo and Federico Pajardo were taken to the Ajuy police station around 6 p.m. on Tuesday after separate raids in their houses.

The search warrants were issued by Judge Rogelio Amador of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 66, said Chief Inspector Charlie Sustento, Ajuy police chief.

First to be searched was Rey’s house. Cops found a .45 pistol. From Federico’s house was seized a 12-gauge shotgun.

“We received information that they frequently displayed their guns, especially when drunk,” Sustento said.

The cousins face charges for illegal gun possession./PN
