BACOLOD City – Task Force Botagoy seized 75 kilograms of “hot meat” during an operation Sunday, Dec. 4 in Barangay Granada.
Botagoy also arrested two vendors of illegally slaughtered meat.
The task force caught Ronilo Diocson around 6:16 a.m. at the public market on Montelibano Street, the task force told Police Station 5.
Fifteen kilos of hot meat were seized from the 53-year-old vendor.
A few minutes after, Botagoy caught the 57-year-old Jose Ronnie Ruel selling 60 kilos of hot meat in the same market.
Botagoy head Rex Juplo and Executive Assistant Ernesto Pineda, task force member and cluster head on markets, led the operation.
Other members Police Officer 3 Julius Dacles, Police Officer 3 Ray Geronimo and Police Officer 1 Anthony Lee Vistar aided them.
