ILOILO City – Charged with rape, a construction worker was arrested in Barangay Tigayon, Kalibo, Aklan.
Operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group Region 6 and Aklan police caught the 30-year-old Joel Vallejo around 6:20 a.m. on Monday.
The resident of Barangay New Buswang, Kalibo was taken to the municipal police station.
The suspect’s arrest warrant was issued by Judge Bienvenido Barrios of the Regional Trial Court./PN
