SAN JOSE, Antique – There is enough supply of Noche Buena products in supermarkets and major grocery stores in Antique, according to the Department of Trade and Industry’s (DTI) provincial office.
The department has not yet received reports on possible shortage, said Glen Fernando, an agency official.
Two big malls in this capital town have enough stocks of ham, queso de bola, pasta, and milk products, among others, Fernando said.
“There are tie-up products, like spaghetti with sauce and other promotional sales, which are advantageous to consumers,” he said.
The DTI vowed to monitor more stores, especially this week when more people are expected to go shopping.
Fernando also reminded establishment owners and consumers to be guided by the suggested retail price (SRP). “We have distributed SRP posters to different stores for their reference,” he said. (PNA)
