ILOILO City – Did construction worker Jearymie Andraje, 43, of Barangay Supoc, Lambunao, Iloilo commit suicide? Was he murdered?
Andraje was found dead at the construction site where he was working – on Dela Rama Street, Barangay Zamorra, City Proper – yesterday morning.
He was hanging inside the elevator of their construction site, according to Police Officer Alberto Espinosa of Police Station 1.
Fellow construction worker Gary Monte of Tigbauan, Iloilo discovered Andraje’s body around 6:20 a.m. Around his colleague’s neck was a wire, he said.
According to Andraje’s 48-year-old uncle Francisco Andraje, Jearymie had no known enemy.
He described his nephew as a good person.
“There were no signs of struggle or injuries on Andraje’s body,” said Espinosa.
The body was taken to Porras Funeral Homes in Barangay Luna, La Paz district. It would be autopsied./PN
